Founded in 1771, Sharon Reformed Church has stood as a beacon of Christ’s light in the heart of Sharon Springs for over two and a half centuries. Our deep historical roots in the Reformed tradition ground us in a rich legacy of biblical truth, meaningful worship, and faithful service. Yet we are not a church anchored in the past — we are a living, Spirit-led congregation with a vibrant vision for the future. As God has been faithful to generations before us, we remain committed to being a faithful witness of His love and truth in our community today.

At Sharon Reformed Church, our mission is simple and profound: to glorify God, and to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the community of Sharon Springs and beyond. We believe the local church is not just a place to attend, but a family to belong to — a gathering of believers where the Word of God is taught, the name of Jesus is lifted high, and the Holy Spirit moves in power.

At Sharon Reformed Church, faith is more than belief — it’s a way of life. From weekly Bible studies and small groups to prayer nights and fellowship events, our church is alive with opportunities to grow in Christ and serve others. We also offer a vibrant AWANA program for kids K–12, helping the next generation grow in God’s Word through fun, Scripture-centered discipleship.

As part of our commitment to community outreach, we’re proud to support ACT of Sharon Springs — a faith-driven ministry reaching across Schoharie and Montgomery Counties with the love and hope of Jesus.

Pastor Jim Peck serves as the senior pastor of Sharon Reformed Church, faithfully leading our congregation with a deep love for God’s Word and a passion for His people. As a minister with the Alliance of Reformed Churches, Pastor Jim brings sound biblical teaching, compassionate pastoral care, and a deep appreciation for the historic and spiritual roots of Sharon Springs.
